Congratulations to Girls' Basketball player Hannah Johnson, as she was recently named to the ESPN Girls' Basketball Top 100 watch list. She was outstanding in her trip to the End of Trails tournament in Oregon. Way to go Hannah! We are very proud of you. Click on the link to get the story.

Congratulations to Girls' Basketbal player Angelica Sahagun, who has accepted a schoalrship offer to play at Vanguard University next year. Bishop Alemany is proud of you and your efforts on and off the court and we wish nothing but the best! Way to go Angelica.

Congratulations to the Girls' Basketball Team for their 71-55 victory over Morningside High School in the second round of the CIF Playoffs. They will play Bishop Montgomery in the Quarter Finals Wednesday at 7pm, here at Alemany High School.

Congratulations to the Bishop Alemany Wrestling Team on their 3rd straight Mission League Championship. The Warriors defeated Harvard-Westlake 52-21 at Alemany H.S. League Finals are Saturday 02/06/10, at Chaminade High School beginning at 2:00pm.

Congratulations to Warrior Softball player Heavin-Lee Rodriguez on her schoalrship acceptance to Cal State San Marcos.

Congratulations to Warrior Softball player Amanda Jimenez on her scholarship acceptance to Friends University in Wichita, Kansas.

Lindsey Webster, a member of the Lady Warrior Softball team, has accepted a scholarship offer from the University of Massachusetts.

Trinidee Trice, a member of the Girls' Basketball team, has accepted a scholarship offer from the University of Northern Arizona.

Heidi Zeiger, a member of our Girls' Swim team, has accepted a scholarship offer from the University of New Mexico.

2009 Mission League MVP, recent garduate, and future Loyola Marymount student-athlete Erin Manke, has been selected to compete for the USA Junior National Girls Water Polo Team and will travel with the team to the Junior World Championships in Russia this summer. Congratulations and best of luck Erin! We are very proud of you!

New School Record Distance 138-8
Next stop State Championship June 6th in Fresno

This past weekend at Cerritos College, senior Madeline Casanova was crowned the Division 3 Discus Champion.
Her throw of 135 feet 6 inches not only shattered her previous school record but earned her a top five spot in the Southern Section Masters Meet this Friday.
