Another Warrior Honored As CIF Champion! This past weekend at Cerritos College, senior Madeline Casanova was crowned the Division 3 Discus Champion. Her throw of 135 feet 6 inches not only shattered her previous school record but earned her a top five spot in the Southern Section Masters Meet this Friday. Great Job Maddie!
Softball Playoff Win! Congratulations to the varsity softball team for their 12-3 victory over Quartz Hill on Thursday, May 21st. The team will play Chino Hills today (5/26/09) in the 2nd round of playoffs at the Field of Dreams Comlpex in Chino Hills.
Warrior Water Polo Honors! Erin Manke(12) traveled to UC Davis with 144 other young ladies that had previously qualified for their own USA Zone Teams in Water Polo. These 144 girls competed for a spot on the USA Women's Junior National Team. Erin played great and was selected to the team. for 09-10. She will now practice and train with the 33 girls selected to the USA Women's JNT in June for one of 13 spots on the Travel team that will go to the USA Worlds in Siberia in July. Prior to traveling to the world games, the team will train for 2 week in the Netherlands. Awesome Erin!
Tony Cox Continues To Dominate Swimming! Tony Cox (12) won two events at the CIF Masters meet on Tuesday nght. He won the 50 yd. free and the 100 yd backstroke. He also broke his own record in the backstroke by a second. Tony will be attending the Auburn University in the Fall on a swimming scholarship. Great Job Tony!!
