Heidi Zeiger (12) Scholastic All- America Team announced by USA Swimming.
Gary Espinosa & Anthony Espinosa are on the Daily News All-Area Wrestling team. Diego Rabanal is the Newcomer of the Year.

Kyong Kim, Stephanie Peters, and Brian Nostaja entered the Burbank Optimist Essay Contest and won awards. They and their families were invited to attend a special dinner and read their award winning essays at the April 16th, 2009 meeting of the Burbank Optimist Club, held at the Burbank Holiday Inn.

Orchestra - 1st place in the Orchestra Division
Band - 2nd place in the Concert Band Division.
Alexandra Cabal (violin) received a very special honor. She was given the trophy for Outstanding Soloist and Concertmaster.

On April 1st, at 7:00 PM there will be a parent meeting on "How to Pay for College without Going Broke" The speaker is Brian Safdari, CEO, CCPS, College Planning Experts, Inc.
He will discuss a number of different strategies to make college affordable, how to develop a financial plan, how to send your child to a private school for less than a state school.

This weekend, the band and orchestra will be going to San Diego to compete in the Heritage Music Festival.

The Bishop Alemany Competition Cheerleading Squad performed at the USA Northern California Classic on Feb 8th at UC Davis. They placed 3rd in their division and qualified for the National Competition!
The National Competition is in Anaheim, March 27th thru 30th.
