Our department recognizes mathematical knowledge and problem-solving skills are necessary for our students' success in today’s society. It is our goal to have each student challenge themselves to complete the most rigorous mathematics course of study that they are capable of while at Bishop Alemany High School.

We recognize our students are creations of God and should be treated with dignity and respect. We pride ourselves on providing academic support for all our students not only during class time but outside of class as well. We attempt to instill in our students the qualities of persistence and confidence by expressing our faith in each of our student as we teach them.
