• Students have Alternative Dress on 3/17 in order for them to wear green.
• 150 shamrocks will be hidden all over campus tomorrow. Students who find shamrocks should bring them to the ASB office to get a prize. Then, their names will be entered into a drawing for a grand prize of $100.
• Senior Emily Loren will be performing Irish Step Dancing on the outdoor stage at lunch tomorrow. She will also be giving a mini lesson to those who wish to try it!

The Warriors Baseball Team is in the Semi-Finals of the Easton Tournament after a 9-3 win over Chatsworth at home Tuesday afternoon. Junior Mark Strazzeri hit a two out grand slam to break a 3-3 tie in the bottom of the 6th inning and send the Warriors into the Thursday afternoon semi-final game at Alemany vs. West Ranch HS @ 3:00 pm. Ryan Paramo, Christian Quijano, Mark Strazzeri, and Edgar Montes held Chatsworth to 5 hits and did not give up a run after the 1st inning.
The Junior Varsity team also improved to 3-0 on the season, after a 6-2 win at Chatsworth HS on Tuesday.

California Pizza Kitchen is sponsoring a senior class fundraiser on March 11th. They will be donating 20% to Alemany if you present them with the Alemany/CPK Flyer when you pay your bill. This is on Wednesday, March 11th only at the CPK on 9301 Tampa Avenue, Northridge 91325.

Varsity Team beat Quartz Hill HS on Friday 4-3 and Camarillo HS 3-2 on Saturday.
On Friday, Senior Sean Becker pitched a complete game, allowing 4 hits to earn the win. Senior Christian Quijano drove in 3 runs with a single and a double in 3 at bats, and Sophomore Edgar Montes hit a solo homerun in the first to put Alemany up 1-0. On Saturday, Senior Trevor Daggon went the distance on the mound for the Warrios, allowing 1 earned run on 6 hits, while striking out 4. The Warriors now enter the championship bracket of the Easton Tournamnet, and will return to action on Tuesday.

Benjamin Beer ('04) This past December, 2008, Ben graduated from CSUN with a B.S. in Accounting. He was also given a scholarship award from his fraternity, Sigma Phi Epsilon, for outstanding achievements and community service. (This award is given to one person in the Southern California and Nevada region.)
