Juniors Chris Gant and K.C. Obi scored 13 and 10 points respectively to lead the Warriors (5-0), who won the Antelope Valley Christian of Lancaster tournamant two weeks ago.
Alemany jumped out to a 13 point halftime lead after repeatedly sprinting past late North Hollywood defenders for easy transition lay ups.
North Hollywood came back in the second half behind the hot shooting of Jesse Zarate and junior Julio Mejia. The Huskies (5-3) trailed only 40-37 after Zarate connected from the left wing but let Alemany rebound two offensive missed shots to rest the shot clock and cut more valuable game time off the clock. Zarate and Mejia each hit two three pointers in the second half and finished with 17 and 12 points respectively.
Alemany moves on to todays regional semi finals against Santa Barbara at 7:30 p.m.
