Well the results for cross-country may vary because there are different courses ran. Each course was at least 2.8 miles no more than 3.0 miles. So, with no further due:
Girls Team
Sierra Olivas was are top girls she decrease her times by last year by at least 20 sec. She finish off running a 21:30.
Following her was a great improvement for Crosby Morgan. she started out running 25 and ended up running mid 22 minutes!! She going to be a lot stronger next year.
Boys Team
On our guys side we have a running crusade. Joseph Cuevas is the strongest runner we have. Running to him is like sleeping. He started in the beginning 21's and finishes running low 18's.
Next is Brian Wisdom, he doesn't say much but he is really determined. He runs in between 19's and low 18's.
Christian Estrada, one of our veterans runs consistently low 18's.
The other guys are Justin Talavera and Ruben Vargas, one of our seniors this year. He hurt his hip mid season, but still was able to run in the league finals; running his average of low a 19.
Eric Lopez, however was the windbreaker at the end of the season. A strong runner, and only a freshman ended up running varsity at league finals and beating his everyone on his team. He started with a mid 20 time and ended up running low 18's.
Overall Coach Neumann and Coach Wilkins are proud of all of our athletes. They didn't make it pass league but we are excited that all the students approved on their times.
GO WARRIORS!
