Dear Students, Parents and Alemany Community,
We continue to thoughtfully monitor the disaster situation in Los Angeles and the impact on our campus and the entire region. Conditions at Alemany remain safe and we have made the decision to return to campus and normal operations tomorrow, Monday January 13. Alemany staff has worked hard in response to the winds to keep our campus clean, clear of debris, and ensuring that HVAC air filters are cleaned and replaced. As we return to school it is important to be mindful of high wind advisories and fire dangers into the middle of the week, as well as the need to monitor air quality. We are grateful we can return tomorrow to our beautiful campus and look forward to coming together this week to pray and to organize and provide support for our families and communities in need. For an opportunity to provide regional support, please refer to the attached flyer from the St. Vincent De Paul Donations for Fire Relief.
If you are aware of any Alemany family or community member in need of assistance because of being impacted by the winds and fires, please reach out and let us know. Teachers, staff and administration will continue to keep a watchful eye on our students and school. Thank you again for your patience, prayers, understanding and support.
In Prayer,
Dr. Tony Galla, President
Dr. Douglas Rynerson, Principal
