Dear Bishop Alemany Families,
It is with very heavy hearts that we must convey the loss of Ms. Shannon Little who passed away today surrounded by her family. Ms. Little devoted her professional life to the Bishop Alemany High School Family, having served as a Religion teacher to hundreds of students over the past fifteen years. The void created on our campus by the loss of Ms. Little's presence poses an immeasurable challenge for all those who were fortunate enough to know her and particularly for those who knew her well.
Ms. Little is survived by her sister and her children, Ryan and Tamiko, who were a constant source of great pride for her. Specifics regarding memorial services will be forthcoming pending communication from her family. Please keep Ms. Little's family and friends in your prayers during this most difficult time. Likewise, we ask that you please pray for the Bishop Alemany faculty, staff, alumni, and most especially for the students of Alemany as we grieve this most unexpected loss of a dedicated teacher, colleague and friend.
Tomorrow counselors, campus ministry and Father Mike will remain in the Chapel to be available to all throughout the day.
Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
