Dear Alemany Families,

The last few weeks have been a busy and exciting time at Bishop Alemany High School. Our amazing girls volleyball team won the CIF championship, following in the footsteps of our incredible girls basketball team who won the CIF championship in the spring. Additionally, our football team is competing this Friday in the semi-final CIF championship game. We encourage all of you to attend Friday’s game against Inglewood High School at Caroline Coleman Stadium at 7:00pm. The stadium is located at 401 S. Inglewood Ave., Inglewood, CA.

Last Sunday’s Open House was a great success! It was a terrific event that showcased all of the good things happening at the school. The number of guests exceeded expectations and has created a wonderful momentum as we move into admissions season.

In recognition of our teams’ significant accomplishments and in gratitude to all the students and families who volunteered to help facilitate our Open House, the school is giving this Friday as a day off for the Alemany community. It is a day to recognize and honor our champion student athletes on the girls basketball and volleyball teams and to support our football student athletes in their run toward a championship. Congratulations again to Coach Johnny Garcia and Coach Morgan Wijay and best of luck to Coach Casey Clausen! Please enjoy the extra day of vacation to rest and relax with the people you love.
