Welcome
Hello Bishop Alemany Families,
As we prepare for the upcoming school year, we would like to share the Bell Schedule for 2026-2027.
As previously announced, Bishop Alemany High School will move from a six-period schedule to a seven-period schedule. This change will provide students with additional academic opportunities and greater flexibility in their course selections. Along with this transition, we will implement a new daily bell schedule, which you can find here at Alemany.org.
In addition, we are making adjustments to our monthly faculty and staff meeting schedule. As you know, we currently hold one faculty and staff meeting each month. Beginning next school year, these meetings will take place on designated Wednesdays, and students will be dismissed early on those days to allow faculty and staff time for collaboration, planning, and professional development. This change also helps us better align our weekly schedule, with club activities continuing during Friday lunch periods and many of our community-building events, including school rallies, Masses, and other special activities taking place on Wednesdays. We believe this schedule will create greater consistency for students and families while supporting both student engagement and faculty development.
We wanted to provide this information well in advance so that families can plan accordingly. A calendar identifying the monthly early dismissal Wednesdays will be communicated before the start of the school year.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support as we implement these changes to enhance our students' educational experience.
Mount Saint Mary’s Catholic College Promise Program.
We are pleased to share some exciting news with our school community. Bishop Alemany High School has been selected to participate in the pilot launch of the Mount Saint Mary’s Catholic College Promise Program.
Through this program, Bishop Alemany students who earn a weighted GPA of 3.0 or higher and demonstrate engagement in service, leadership, or faith-based activities will receive guaranteed admission to Mount Saint Mary’s University, with the exception of the Nursing and Music programs.
This partnership provides a wonderful opportunity for our students to continue their educational journey within a Catholic higher education environment that emphasizes academic excellence, leadership, service, and faith.
We are honored to be among the schools selected for this pilot program and look forward to helping our students take advantage of this pathway to college success. Additional information about eligibility requirements and the application process will be shared as it becomes available.
Thank you for your continued partnership in supporting our students' academic and personal growth.
